Judith Poe has implemented security measures designed to protect the Personal Information you share with us, including physical, electronic and procedural measures. Among other things, we offer HTTPS secure access to most areas on our Services; the transmission of sensitive payment information (such as a credit card number) through our designated purchase forms is protected by an industry standard SSL/TLS encrypted connection; and we regularly maintain a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) certification. We also regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and regularly seek new ways and Third Party Services for further enhancing the security of our Services and protection of our Visitors’ and Users’ privacy.

However – regardless of the measures and efforts taken by Judith Poe, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your Personal Information, your Users-of-Users’ Information or any other User Content you upload, publish or otherwise share with Judith Poe or anyone else.

We therefore encourage you to set strong passwords for your User Account and User Website, and avoid providing us with any sensitive information which you believe its disclosure could cause you substantial or irreparable harm. Furthermore, because certain areas on our Services are less secure than others (for example, if you set your Support forum ticket to be “Public” instead of “Private”, or if you browse to a non-SSL page), and since e-mail and instant messaging are not recognized as secure forms of communications, we request and encourage you not to share any Personal Information on any of these areas or via any of these methods.

Judith Poe goes to great lengths to keep financial information private and safe. We take appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of PII data we collect, including limiting the number of people who have access to physical access to our database services, as well as employing electronic security systems, and password protections that safeguard against unauthorized access. In addition, it is our policy to never send your credit card information via email. Our customer service center and stores also operate over a private and secure network for this reason. Please note, however, that email is not encrypted and it is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting credit card information.

Occasionally we may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide PII to the appropriate governmental authorities. We will disclose PII upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.

While we will use every reasonable means to ensure the security of the information you transmit to us, we cannot guarantee that third parties will not intercept such information. We will, however, prosecute any unauthorized or fraudulent transactions to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If you are under the age of eighteen (18), you should use this website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any PII data to us. We will remove from our files any PII data of anyone we discover to be under thirteen (13) years of age. Our online contests are restricted to entrants who are at least thirteen (13) years old.
